Hi, I'm Cesar Santos.

I hold a degree in Information Systems and work as a back-end developer. I am currently steering my career toward DevOps and Cloud Native, deepening my knowledge of Linux, containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, automation, and observability. I also study cloud computing with a focus on AWS, Oracle Cloud, and Google Cloud, and I am pursuing a postgraduate degree in Cyber Security — Red Team at FIAP.

What is CommandLinux?

CommandLinux is my space for learning in public. Writing helps me reinforce what I learn, organize concepts, and identify what I still need to study. By publishing these notes, I hope to make the path a little easier for people learning the same subjects.

Much of the content comes from my studies in LINUXtips training programs: PICK — Intensive Containers and Kubernetes Program,LNC — Linux for Cloud Native,Building Pipelines and Automations with GitHub Actions, andIaC and Pipeline Specialist. I also share lessons from my postgraduate studies in Cyber Security — Red Team at FIAP.

My journey

My journey began in back-end development, building applications and understanding how code solves business problems. Over time, I became increasingly interested in what happens after an application is developed: how it is packaged, tested, deployed, observed, secured, and kept available in production.

That interest led me to begin a career transition into DevOps and Cloud Native. Today I study Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, infrastructure as code, pipelines, and cloud services from AWS, Oracle Cloud, and Google Cloud. My goal is to connect my development experience with a broader view of the software lifecycle, from building applications to running and operating them in the cloud.

My postgraduate degree in Cyber Security — Red Team complements this path by adding an offensive security perspective. I want to understand not only how to build and operate systems, but also how to identify risks and make systems secure from the start.

I am still gaining experience in this new field, and I do not write as someone who has all the answers. I write as someone who studies, tests, researches, practices, and documents what they learn. CommandLinux records this progress openly and honestly.
